Hang in there
No matter how we try to avoid going through the same ol, same ol...we will often find ourselves thrusted right back into the sam situation. God does this, not because he intends for us to suffer, or to hurt, crying in pain with tears...but it's his way of growing us, changing us, and teaching us...teaching us to trust him. To trust that he has a plan for us all, that he is a God who will turn every diificult circumstance around. We have to take on the courage of faith and tell ourselves that, Lord, I'll trust you. I'll trust you anyhow, no matter how dead or bleak the storm looks. It's difficult, confusing, and oh so very self-diminishing at times, but we have to learn to trust God anyhow. We have to take the shield of faith, and go through with anyhow praise. Despite what is and has been done to me presently, in the past, and the challenges yet to come. When we cower in fear, and give up, or lose hope, we are only giving way to the enemy to reign over us. We must rememeber that in all battles, be it life, love, or health, that we are triumphant. We always come out on top. God never, ever allows us to be placed in a pit of desperation, pity, defeat or depression without always giving us a way out. Trial after trial, lost after lost, pain after pain...Betty Wright said it best, there is always gain. Therefore, I have to be still, and watch God prove himself. That he has the best in store for me and no GOOD thing will he withhold from me. Just because my emotions are telling me that it's difficult, that I'm feeling defeated or it won't work...God's word has not said so. Hang in there, push past the hollering mouth of retreat, and know with understanding and wisdom, that God's has me in the palm of his hand, he's bearing every burden on my behalf. Be strengthen in the light of the Lord, pull yourself together and keep it moving forward, looking to the hills which cometh your help. God is always there for you, he will never leave you, nor forsake you...no matter how far you may think that God is from being in your storm, he's standing on the water, waiting for you to look to him, and "Come"...step out of the boat, into the storm, keeping your eyes fixed on him...God will fix it.
